Frequently Asked Questions

Do your engineers come to our practice or do we post our devices in?

Our team of biomedical engineers are based nationwide, so we arrange a convenient date and time for one of our engineers to visit your surgery/practice to carry out the testing and calibration.

Do we have to ensure all of our devices are in one room for the engineers visit?

Although this does assist our engineers in completing the testing with less disruption to your surgery, this is not an essential requirement as our engineers are used to moving from room to room when they become available.

Do JPen Medical offer contracts?

Yes, you can choose from a 1 year – 3 year contract. The main benefit for the 3 year contract is that your agreed rate is frozen for the duration of the contract, and you will be reminded each year when you need to book in for your next visit to ensure your practice/surgery remains CQC compliant.

When do we receive our test certificates for our CQC inspection?

Once your invoice has been paid via BACS, credit card or Cheque, your certificates will then be emailed directly to you. We will also store this data for 5 years should you require replacement copies at any point.
