Scales Blitz Service
We're now able to offer Medical Scale Blitz Days to validate all of a hospital's scales in one easy visit. 
Addressing the feedback from last year’s audit of hospital scales by Weights and Measures, our new service will guarantee that you stay on top of the annual calibration of scales, without re-directing your medical engineers from critical work.
JPen Medical:
- is experienced at working for EBME departments around the country
- will send a team of fully equipped engineers to the hospital
- is able to calibrate over 100 scales a day
- will blitz through hospital departments, under the EBME Manager’s direction
- will ensure the scales comply with the relevant task
- will issue a clear and comprehensive certificate for each item
- engineers are all CRB checked and carry photo identity badges
- is an ISO 9001 registered company
Re-calibration drop-in service
JPen Medical also offers an alternative solution to help NHS Trusts and PCTs to stay on top of their scales re-calibration.
This is a straightforward and efficient solution, covering all scales and users. Setting aside a 2-day window for a site, users are advised to bring their scales to a central location at any time during this period. With JPen Medical engineers on hand during this time to quickly re-calibrate and certify each set of scales, users could either wait or drop them off and pick up the re-calibrated scales later.
