JPen Medical, market leaders in on-site testing and calibration launches its all inclusive verification and maintenance service, helping you comply with “HTM 01-05; Decontamination in primary care dental practices” and the Care Quality Commission’s (CQC) “Essential standards of quality and safety.”
JPen Medical thoroughly understands the requirements placed on dental practices when it comes to the maintenance of decontamination equipment and what is required to ensure patients are safe from potentially un-safe equipment.
JPen Medical can not only test ALL of your decontamination equipment (Autoclaves, Washer/Disinfector and Ultrasonic Cleaner) but, as part of the all-inclusive service, can also test everything from your dental chair and hand pieces to X-ray machines and ultrasonic equipment.
JPen Medical will make all repairs on-site and will source the parts needed as required. Where possible we will conduct the repairs during our test and calibration visit to reduce the impact on your practice.
And should any repairs be needed to your autoclave that would render it unusable for more than 7 days, we are happy to provide you with a replacement unit free of charge until yours is repaired, re-certified and returned to site.
HTM 01-05, replacing HTM 2010 and 2030, specifies that both cleaning (Washer-disinfectors and Ultrasonic cleaners) and sterilising (Autoclaves) equipment be tested up to 4 times a year to protect against cross contamination.
In one SINGLE visit, All equipment is tested and calibrated, including ultrasonic equipment by our graduate engineers, reducing inconvenience and costs.
