JPen Medical is able to demonstrate its testing equipment is validated every year by a UKAS approved centre, as specified by the MHRA.
Accurate reference equipment can have a direct bearing on the accuracy of the test equipment, which in turn has a direct effect on the accuracy of the readings and so patient well-being.
Regular handling and transportation of testing equipment may impede its accuracy. Contractors should, therefore, be able to demonstrate that their testing and calibration equipment has been certified to UKAS standards within the previous 12 months.
